Throughout the Renaissance Era of medicine, it was standard practice for not only herbalists, but university trained physicians to utilize medicine astrology in their diagnostic and therapeutic approaches. As science desacralized ancient traditions, the usage of astrology for medical purposes has diminished into obscurity.
The link between plants and planets is both ancient and universal, with cultures all across the world recognizing this sacred connection between Heaven and Earth. Through integrating the pattern of the cosmos into our model of clinical herbalism, our capacities as plant healers is magnified significantly in our ability to assess hard to treat conditions, see into the underlying root causes of disease, and create highly unique customized formulas and protocols that are truly healing and transformative.
This is part 2 of a 2 part lecture given at the 2017 International Herb Symposium.
