The Plant Path

Aug 19, 2020

This week, we're going to talk about addressing allergies. This is something that a lot of people struggle with, especially in terms of seasonal allergies. We're in the early stages of summer here. This is the time when a lot of people get affected by a lot of the pollens in the air and dealing with upper respiratory stuff. So not only is it pertinent at this time, there’s also the question of why we get allergies. What's the root cause? And why is it that sometimes we have an allergy when we're a kid, and then it goes away, but then it comes back later in life?

We’re going to look at the underlying physiology behind allergies, why they can come and go, and what you can do on a foundational level to not just treat allergies with herbs. I'm not going into how to treat allergies with herbs so much as some of the fundamental things that you need to do to address the root cause of those allergies.
